Our wine-making in the Luberon wine-growing region
Arnia, an estate in Luberon
In Italian, Arnia means the hive as we would like to honor the bees. Do you know that one third of our food depends on the pollination work done by the bees ?
Yet, the vine is self-fertile. This means that it can do without pollinating insects At the Arnia estate, we will soon be installing hives. We are already Agri Confidence certified.
Arnia, the hive, echoes our way of life, our way of functioning. It is the family members who hum together during the big celebrations. These are the workers who harvest beautiful grapes to bring them to the cellar and make them vinified with the aim of making beautiful wines.
Finally, the hive is the community of men and women on which a territory is built, the community of teachers, peasants, traders, craftsmen, thinkers, helpers, careers, activists.
Arnia is our name, our philosophy, our desire to participate actively, on our modest scale, in the development of our territory.
As you can see, in a bottle of Arnia, there’s more than just wine. There are also beliefs, convictions, sweat, doubts, but also landscapes and stories.
Arnia, a continuous process of creation
Eventually we hope to expand our range of cuvees, yet for now we are proceeding cautiously.
