YEAR 1: ONLY ONE CUVEE

AOC Ventoux

Year 1 is a red Ventoux from the 2020 vintage, mainly composed of black Grenache and Mourvèdre harvested on the hill of Goult. This is our first cuvee. It was harvested on 29 September 2020 and then vinified at the Bonnieux cellar. It was bottled on July, 21 2021.

Year 1 will be appreciated young, on the fruit. Its notes of grey and white peppers, cherry tails, bay leaves, rosemary, crushed blackcurrant and cardamom express the magnificent exposure of the southern hillsides of the AOC Ventoux. Its mouth, generous, greedy, with tannins that ask to melt will allow it to accompany grilled fish, white meats, braised lamb and goat cheese.

After opening, aromas of leather, sherry and cloves give length to a finish that remains fresh. Other agreements appeared and proved to be relevant: tagines, couscous, blue cheeses and of course the County.

Year 1 is wild and on the fruit.

We recommend opening Year 1 at least three hours before placing it on the table, serving it between 15 and 17°C.
