YEAR 4
VENTOUX ROUGE & BLANC & LUBERON ROSÉ
YEAR 4, 2023, is our most abundant vintage to date. A fine spring, a dry, hot summer and some good rain enabled us to produce grapes of excellent quality and to return to production in all three colors.
Year 4 also saw the recognition of the quality and personality of our different wines by the media and specialized guides, as well as the preview presentation of Arnia blanc 2022 at a stage of the Revue du Vin de France blind tasting championship in Vinsobres in the Drôme provençale.
In 2023, we will have produced our second Ventoux blanc, made from 65% clairette (our favorite white grape variety), 20% grenache blanc (for character and generosity), and 15% vermentino (for aromatic freshness). Tonic, fruity, long and delicate, it goes equally well with oysters and shellfish, white meat, seafood, fresh goat’s cheese, bleu de Gex.
Our second Luberon rosé, made from an atypical blend of 85% Syrah and 15% Vermentino, is lighter in color than the 2021. It has good balance, liveliness and a fresh finish. Perfect as an aperitif, it’s an ideal accompaniment to paellas, Nicoise salads, kebabs and other dishes that herald summer and its Mediterranean cuisine.
As has been the case since the beginning of the Arnia adventure, each new vintage comes with a new label! In addition to the pleasure of tasting our wines, these creations allow you to travel and discover our colorful landscapes.
