Pale gold in colour with hints of green, the 2024 Ventoux Blanc from Domaine Arnia expresses notes of white flowers, lychees and white peaches. On the palate, the attack is fresh, and the wine is refined, elegant, and fruity. A slight bitterness supports the finish, making it a good accompaniment to oysters, shellfish, grilled fish, sauerkraut, Comté and Salers cheeses.
The Ventoux Rouge 2023 has a purple colour verging on black, with aromas of blackcurrant, crushed strawberries, sage and rosemary. Its tannins are mellow, its palate is full and supple, and the finish is fruity. Try it with black pudding, grilled meats, or fresh goat’s cheese from Dieulefit.
